Assistance in teaching science subjects on flower puzzle experiments by Japanese teachers who help train teachers in pedagogy and vocational training in Kampong Cham province

On February 12, 2024, Mr. Thantha Phirum, a 4th grade teacher of Aknuwat Hun Sen Practice Primary School (New Generation School Program), led the students to learn about the puzzle of finding flowers. Contributed by Japanese teachers.

Activities before the experiment

The teacher guides the students to prepare materials for group experiments such as

  • 3 types of flowers
  • Tweezers
  • Scissors
  • Ram paper
  • Scots

Activities during the experiment

  • Students begin to cut flowers in half using scissors.
  • Students observe a split flower
  • Students use a pair of pliers to draw different parts of the flower, place it on a piece of parchment paper and tape it over it (flower petals, male and female hairs).
  • Students begin to observe and write the name of the jigsaw puzzle of flowers.

Post-experimental activities

  • Students observe and compare puzzles of the three types of flowers
  • Students in groups present the results of the experiment

Support for teaching methods of Khmer language and mathematics by teachers of Kampong Cham Teacher Training College

Aknuwat Hun Sen Practice Primary School is honored to have teachers from Kampong Cham Provincial Teacher Training College on the method of teaching Khmer language and mathematics from grade 1 to grade 6 for 2 months from February to March 2024. The teachers who helped include:

Inspection of food cakes by the General Department of Consumer Protection, Competition and Suppression of Fraud “ក.ប.ប”

On January 16, 2024, the General Department of Consumer Protection, Competition and Anti-Fraud “KPR” inspected food cakes at Aknuwat Hun Sen Primary School (New Generation School Program) to meet with you School grocery stores introduce food cakes that should be sold and should not be sold, as well as hygiene tips to keep food cakes clean. 6th graders learn computer about using Tab menu Insert in Ms. Power Point

On January 31, 2024, the 6th grade students of Aknuwat Hun Sen Primary School (New Generation School Program) had a total of 36 students, taught by Moeun Sina, a teacher in charge of teaching computers at primary level from Grades 4 to 6. Today, students learned how to use the Insert Tab menu in Ms. Power Point includes creating charts, downloading images from This Device and Online Pictures, selecting Shape Smart Art and Chart.

After the students learned through the teacher’s presentation on the slides, the students applied the following results:

Create tables.

Download pictures from This Device and Online pictures.

Pull out the parts of the Shape and assemble them into human figures.

Download Smart Art to show the butterfly cycle.

Download Chart to show 4th, 5th and 6th grade computer scores.

This is a student activity on a computer.

After students complete this lesson, students can apply this skill in their daily learning through presentations.

On January 31, 2024, the 4th grade students of Aknuwat Hun Sen Primary School had a total of 36 students, taught by Moeun Sina, a primary school computer teacher. Students learned how to place their finger on the keyboard through the slide show on the slide. When showing this slide, the teacher asked the students how to place each finger by drawing a name. The teacher then distributes the board to a student.

On January 30, 2024, 5th grade students of Aknuwat Hun Sen Primary School learned how to use Khmer Unicode, with 36 students per class taught by Moeun Sina. After the students have learned the theory of using Khmer Unicode templates through the work, the students practice writing their own words and resumes with the right hand and save the files in their respective folders, including students helping students.
